General

We primarily offer hardwoods: oak, beech, hornbeam, and ash, for long and steady burning. Blends may be available depending on stock and the season. Check the product sheet for the exact species.

The lengths available are: 25 cm, 33 cm, 40 cm and 50 cm. Choose according to your fireplace or stove.

1 stere = 1 m³ of wood stacked 1 m long. For shorter logs, the apparent volume varies: 50 cm ≈ 0.8 m³, 33 cm ≈ 0.7 m³, 25 cm ≈ 0.6 m³ (indicative values).

Dry wood (<20% moisture content) lights easily, heats better and clogs less. Wet wood burns poorly, smokes more and clogs the flue.

We prioritize local and responsible sourcing. Some batches may be PEFC/FSC certified depending on availability.

Use & Advice

Top-down method: large logs at the bottom, then medium logs, kindling, and firelighters at the top. Turn on the air supply and light from the top for a clean start.

Stack high, away from moisture, with ventilated sides. Cover the top but leave the sides open.

Common causes: wood that is too damp, insufficient draft, clogged flue, blocked air intake, logs that are too large. Use dry wood and sweep regularly.

Order & Delivery

We deliver to mainland France. The approximate delivery time is 7 to 12 working days, depending on the time of year and logistics requirements.

Delivery is made by truck with a tail lift and manual pallet truck. Placement on hard, flat ground (tarmac, concrete, paving stones). Gravel, grass, slopes, or high sidewalks may prevent the pallet truck from being used.

The pallet truck requires a hard, flat surface. The area must be accessible and clear. The driver must not negotiate steps, lawns, or steep slopes.

Yes, you will be offered a slot. Make sure you are present or represented.

Fees are calculated based on area, volume, and accessibility. They appear in the shopping cart. For orders over a certain amount, delivery may be free.

Check the condition of the pallet and the strapping. If there are any anomalies, note any reservations on the delivery slip and take a photo.
